Crystal Klimavicz... Novelist, Professional Development Consultant, Mother, Runner, and Beach Lover
Crystal Klimavicz grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine. She spent her early adulthood in Boston and then Atlanta, as well three years living abroad in Kyiv, Ukraine. She and her husband now reside on Daniel Island in South Carolina with their two children, two dogs and one rather plump cat. Both entrepreneur and writer, Crystal has created a number of professional development courses involving sales skills, job interview preparation and group presentation techniques. She has taught her courses in Atlanta, Charleston and overseas in Kyiv, and thrives on the opportunity to help people grow. She is a blog contributor with a group of avid readers and writers for Readers Unbound, and published her first novel in 2014. Falling Through Trees is a poignant story about two sisters, family loss, and learning to let go of the past. Her second novel, proposed title This Side of Perfect, is next in the 'Kate Harriman' series of family drama, life struggles, and survival. It will be available in the summer of 2015. When she is not crafting a story, she heads out for a run, an island bike ride, or plays tennis with friends. Crystal’s true passion is in finding balance between joy, grace and the troubles of this world, and she loves the process of allowing her stories’ characters to do the same.
